My kind of snow play!!

I love snow, I think it's beautiful. The way everything sounds and smells when it's snowing is so peaceful. However, I don't like to get in snow, I don't own boots or snow pants or any good gloves, I hate that people drive like idiots when the roads are slick. Really, I just like to look at snow from my warm cozy house.
But yesterday was good for playing in the snow. It was 45 degrees when we went out, the snow was melting but because there was so much there was still plenty to play in!

James stayed bundled up the whole time since he is sick-plus I learned from Fiona's first snow experience that babies don't care much for snow. Pretty sure his tooth will be in by the end of the weekend, my kids rarely drool. Fiona made snow angels: "We" built a snowperson:
with chalk for eyes and mouth and a bowl for a hat:

and more, for like 5 minutes she stood eating snow:
