Clare, where did you go?

Busy, stressed, tired, enjoying a revived hobby and warm weather.

JR has class three nights a week and a weekend class this semester-every other weekend for 6 weeks, it is really wearing on us. Add a teething baby, and a toddler bed transition and by the end of the day my house is a disaster and I just want to sit.
A week and a half ago, after Fiona's nap, I made a crib tent by throwing a blanket over the top. I had to do something so I set James on her floor with a toy ran out of the room. On my way back I ran into Fiona in the hallway, she had climbed over the edge and dropped down! Shit -pardon my french, but I knew the transition would be hard, I was right. A trip to Target and "some" assembly and she had a super cute toddler bed.It took about a week of us being very consistent and some bribery (which I'm trying to get rid of) and she is now sleeping pretty well in her bed.

During this time James had just started getting his top teeth, one night he woke up every 1.5-2 hours and it took Fiona 2 hours to stay in bed. Ahh-craziness!
Teeth (and squash boogers-sorry):
Now things are getting much better, JR has this weekend off then his last weekend class next week so we'll go back to the normal amount of crazy.
Enough negativity... I got a DSLR camera, I'm still beyond stoked!! I love photography and have missed it so much since my high school classes. I still made attempts at taking pictures, but a point and shoot just doesn't cut it. Thankfully the kids are too little to complain about the ridiculous number of pictures I take, because I love it.
We have had a beautiful last couple of days. It's crazy how getting outside changes your mood so much, everyone was happy today, James even got his 6 months shots this morning (very delayed, thanks to the ear infections-which actually cleared up really well, finally)!
Yesterday, Fiona hopped on her trike and rode like it's nothing, last year she had the concept but didn't seem to have the coordination.
Fuzzy head! The wind isn't blowing much here, his hair just stands straight up in the back: Melt my ♥ on Valentine's day why doncha?

Ever since the blizzard (see last post) Fiona uses the window as a dry erase board. It's been a great pastime for her and it cleans up easily.
Today, James sat in grass for the first time:
It was a bit windy though. I know beggars can't be choosers but I'll take less wind on our next 74 degree day-James agrees: I took these pictures because I take pictures of everything now of how cute this looked, but when I looked at them later I noticed that the kids are holding their feet so similar, yet they change in every picture. Back sooner next time, I miss bloggy-land when I'm away!

I was wondering about you--glad you're back!
I love that the kiddos have their legs crossed the same way--too cute.
Yay for the DSLR! What'd you get? We have a Canon Rebel T1i (his name is Preston) and I heart it. :)
