I'm having some serious issues with Blogger so I'm not moving this picture or adding the others I wanted to add. I just wanted to get an update up.
Here's my parents and the kids a couple of weeks ago.
I'm in a blog rut. Update on everyone, in 5, 4, 3, 2, 1..........
James was doing better, then got another ear infection, blah! We went to the walk in clinic (our ped does walk-in clinic every morning, even Saturdays-It has been great for us) three times in 7 days. The doctor we saw the last time said if he gets another ear infection before summer he will have to get tubes now. Our pediatrician wanted us to make to fall/winter before we got them, I think that's the best plan, but not sure if we'll make it. At this point we know tubes are inevitable, the question now is when. I think he may have another or not gotten over the last one, should know for sure in the next few days. Poor guy, can't get a break still.
He started actually crawling the weekend of his 9 month birthday and then that Monday started pulling up, on everything!! No he is cruising and pushing around anything he can move. I can't keep him out of stuff, he's a total nut.
This was about a month ago but it may have been the funniest thing I have seen in a long time. This is some "as seen on TV" dish cover with a thick plastic layer in the center that you push on "any size dish to save your leftovers" He was trying to chew on the inside plastic, awesome:
Fiona is well, and hilarious she says the funniest stuff, my favorite example:
She was playing with her card from her birthday last year and she asked where we got her card. JR said we got it from the store and then she said, "Did James go with you?"
Me: "Yes, he was still in my tummy."
Fiona: "Did you eat him?" Bwahahahah, I'm still laughing about that. She was totally serious too!
I had baby fever bad! Go ahead, say it...hell, I'll say it with you: "Clare, you are crazy!!" I just posted about this poor little dude who has cried for so much of his first 9 months, we have a tiny house full of chaos and I want another baby!? I even made a proposal to JR with all the reasons we should have another baby now. No go from the other half so I guess I'll bug him again in a couple of months-he's talking a couple of years...or never. Really, a couple of years is a better idea.
*I started this post a couple of weeks ago, and now that James is having issues again-my baby fever is GONE. I know if we have another baby it will be like this again and as terribly sad as it makes me, I really don't know if we can handle it again. I'm sure I'll forget when things get better and want another baby, but I really want to make sure I clearly remember this time.*
I've been reading my ass off lately-not sure why, but I'm glad to be back to books. I read my b-day book in four days (Two Kisses for Maddy) loved it, I've read the blog from very early on so I was familiar with the story but the book was still great.
JR is good, he finally got on the golf course a couple of weeks ago so that made him pretty giddy for a few days.
Last Sunday we celebrated two years of sobriety for him, I got him a 2 year coin to replace his 24 hour one that he has carried in his wallet for 2 years. I was comparing the two and said, "gosh, this one is so much lighter/cheaper looking." He looked at me and said, "yeah, I bet the give a lot of these out." I didn't even think of that.
Other than that it's school and work for him, he has finals this week so he will get a little break from school coming up too. I can't wait, these three nights of single mommy is wearing on me.
I have lots to catch up on...I'll be back, really. :)

Congrats on 2 years! That is awesome. I remember when you posted the first time about his sobriety. Very cool.
Baby fever....I get it occasionally, too. :)
