Then, the photographer, not the pictures he took but the fact that every time we met with him we owed more money from hidden costs. At the wedding he got into it with my 80 year old Granddad for taking pictures over his shoulder, and was rude to my Dad, the one who paid him. He designed this gorgeous coffee table book for us and it cost a months worth of rent at the time, on top of the $2000 credit we had from the initial payment. When we went to look at the book and our pictures I was pregnant with Fiona and we couldn't spend that kind of money. I kept wanting to go back and just get our copyright and a disk of our pictures, but I was afraid we couldn't afford that even. Fast forward to the first of March, I took a photography class (which was awesome!) from a local wedding photographer and he showed slides of pictures that made me nearly cry, mainly because we don't have any pictures from our wedding. So I searched for our photographer and couldn't find anything. I finally remembered his last name and found him on Facebook and found out he is no longer in business (shocker!). Long story short, we bought our pictures, all of them on a DVD and the coffee table book he used for his display. So I can now share them and print them and even print the book he designed for us (different than the display one we have).
Here a a few of my favorites:
Details:

Neither of us had living Grandmothers at the time of our wedding so I wore a piece of jewelry from each of them. My maternal grandma's (clip-on!) earrings, my paternal grandmothers emerald ring, and JR's maternal grandma's diamond ring.
The People:
Side note: Fr. Rossiter was the priest for all of my sacraments after baptism, he was also the priest for countless number of Friday Mass while I was in school and Sunday's with my family. I learned how to be an "alter girl" with him and did the St Patrick's day parade several years with him. Ironically, James was born on his birthday last year and Fr. Rossiter died the next day. Sad to lose such a big part of my life, but cool that James' has a link to him.
Party:
SO Very frustrated with Blogger right now! I upgraded the photo "thing" and then my pictures would show up in the original form (usually just not rotated), so I started using Picasa and I can't drag pictures farther than what I can see in the window, there were also some parts I couldn't type. I was thinking that it was because I'm using Google Chrome and a lot of things don't work right with it yet, but Blogger and Picasa are by Google so you'd think that wouldn't be the problem. I might try in IE or Firefox to be sure though.
Anyone else having issues? It's actually why I stopped blogging for a while b/c so many of my pics are rotated.
